Derek Williams DDS

Dr. Derek Williams is very excited to be in Lufkin and honored with the privilege of carrying on Dr. Bates’ legacy in caring for his patients. Dr. Williams is originally from Utah. He moved his family to Omaha, Nebraska to attend Creighton University Dental School. He devoted himself to learning the foundational principles of dentistry. After searching far and wide, he and his wife have decided to settle in the family friendly city of Lufkin, TX.
Dr. Williams spends a considerable amount of time each year learning the latest techniques developed in dentistry in order to provide the highest quality of care. He is an avid learner and sincerely enjoys the relationships he builds with patients.
He and his wife Jenny have been married for 10 years and have five children: Ashlyn, Brinley, Claire, Desiree, and Emmett. Dr. William's latest running joke is that he only really wanted a son, but it took 5 tries to get one. He loves his family more than anything in the world and spends all his free time with them.
